How To Choose A Branding Photographer

Choosing a photographer who can understand YOU.

You know how you are living through divorce? Or maybe you’re fostering children through the state. Or you know, maybe you’ve overcome immense low self-esteem & feel more confident that ever. What about that time you struggled with post partum anxiety? Have you struggled with binge eating? Restrictive eating?

Shouldn’t people be talking about these things? Yes. You & I should be talking about these things. We should be making our stamp on this world, inviting other people into our spaces to be seen & known & validated.

Here’s the reality: we all have pain points.

The people who just hurt others or make fun of other peoples pain points…they have pain points too but they’re too afraid to look at or touch or address them. So they deflect. I feel sad for them.

We are humans. Humans connect with humans.

Be the skin care specialist who understands recurring miscarriage & preemie NICU baby life. Be the photographer who understands the grief of divorce, adoption, foster care. Be the florist who reaches & understands the widows + widowers, because you too understand what it is to lose your partner. Be the fitness coach who is transparent about the eating disorder you’ve worked so hard to battle.

Whatever the hurdle is you’ve overcome or are working to overcome, there are other people in that arena too. Talk to them. Talk to you. This is branding.
