How to create a content strategy for your brand: Know Like Trust
Hey Coach or Service Provider—
Have you heard of the Know — Like — Trust factor?
Essentially, in order to work with *ideal* clients, they first need to KNOW you exist…then LIKE you at least a little..before they TRUST you enough to work with you or buy your thing / service provider.
This means they need to SEE 👀 you in your marketing & social media content.
Branding is a lot simpler than most people make it... but it can be tricky if it isn't natural.
My friend @womenofwoo does a phenomenal job breaking down how we are each designed in a specific (spiritual) way to serve the world (you can take her quiz for free)... and I am a Lightworker.
As a Lightworker, in my experience, it has been easy to brand myself (even on accident) because I naturally lean towards Story Telling. I share myself and my story, I share my lessons + I hold a vision for our collective healing + growth.
When you're creating content for your brand, it's helpful to think about dipping each post into at least 1 of these categories:
Know
Like
Trust
Often, a piece of content may dip into 2 categories!
The concept of Know-Like-Trust is simple, but there is depth here.
It represents the journey your community/client/audience can make when getting to know your brand + you + what you offer.
This is typically a process you lead people on, through consistent content + showing up for your brand. In order for people to give you their money, to hire you, purchase your thing, buy your offer, they have to trust you. Sometimes, rarely, that is a quick journey. Mostly it is a process.
So as you create content, hit these buckets. Like content tends to be the easiest, most natural for me on my author IG page; know + trust content comes out most often on my Photog page. It is incredibly important to rotate + cycle through all three, weekly :)
