The difference between headshots + branding

Branding vs Headshots // my friend Jasmine (she’s also a biz coach! @womenofwoo) reminded me that people outside the biz world don’t naturally know or see the difference between a branding shoot versus headshots.

So here we go!

Headshots are typically up close, focusing on your face, usually showcasing your smiling bright welcoming face!

Your headshot is often the first face people see when googling you: is the one you’re using displaying the energy that matches what you hope to offer?

Headshots are most typically used on bio pages, about me blurbs, speaking cards, article/podcast interviews, content introducing yourself.

It’s your “Hey, Hi, My Name Is” image of the internet.

Branding imagery is where we bring in all the action, display the service, showcase your heart & purpose and mission!

During branding sessions, we bring in “props” which are YOUR tools of your trade — laptops, play dough, ingredients, glassware, floral, books, cameras, paint chips, I mean the list honestly goes on.

These images are meant to be used all over your website, giving potential & ideal clients VISUALS so they can envision and see what it literally looks like & even feels like to work with you.

I have my winter headshot day coming up, which are solely for headshots.

I also have my annual branding MINI sessions.

These are two different offerings & when you purchase your slot, I will send you info how to prepare and plan and prep for the specific shoot.

I will help you come up with wardrobe options. And for the branding minis, we will plan what important tools to bring for our time together.

Don’t hesitate to ask me questions!

You can get info for either of these thru this link.
