This is what’s holding you back from growing your brand
I've been doing a lot of betting on myself, a lot of believing in myself, a lot of turning down other potential opportunities so that I can maintain the space needed for what I've been building for…years.
And let me tell you: it's terrifying.
It's not “secure" in any sense of the word how I've learned “secure” to mean.
I have had a number of really good friends send me different Marketing Specialist positions available for bigger companies + brands, where I would make a solid $70k/annually promised.
I have applied to some of these, and soon after decided to pull my application, and continue betting on myself.
But betting on myself isn't me just sitting around believing and hoping and praying for the best.
It is action.
It is doing.
It is learning.
It is networking.
It is providing consistent value to you and as many people as I can.
You betting on yourself is not much different.
The Bible itself says “faith without deeds is dead.”
We cannot sit around having faith and not taking any action.
What I've learned over the last few years is this:
THE THING that holds me + my brand back most is MYSELF.
I do that. I hold myself back. My fears. My lack of confidence. My feelings of inadequacy.
I would bet money those things hold you back too.
I have learned to self-coach myself through these experiences, because I know they hold me back from growing + scaling + reaching more people.
Do you know how to self-coach yourself through these things? Do you know how to notice when these are holding you back?
If not, I really invite you to book a consult.
You may or may not choose to book a Branding Package with me; either way is fine. If we spend 30 minutes talking through some of your (what we call) imposter syndrome + fears, that is 30 minutes well spent.
Here are some affirmations I speak to myself during times of fear or lack of confidence or feeling like
“Who do I think I am ?!”
“My desire is proof of what's possible for me.”
“Nobody else is in my body, living my life, feeling my feelings, dreaming my dreams: nobody else will look back over my life + wish I'd done it differently. Just me. Chase my dreams.”
“I am capable of making and maintaining the money I desire so that I can live the life I desire.”
Confidence comes FROM taking action, while in motion.
I have everything I need to do this.
My work and mission matter.
If I do not show up, I cannot serve.
Business is serving.(—Jasmine Ivy of Women of Woo)
